The Flyfishers’ Club is undoubtedly one of the country’s most interesting and entertaining fly fishing fraternities. Founded in 1884, its object was and remains ‘a social club for gentlemen interested in the art of flyfishing and for the study and furtherance of subjects and issues of interest to fly fishermen’. The Club’s rooms in Brook Street are extremely comfortable – Members think of them as their favourite ‘fishing-hut’, discreet, cosy and welcoming … a haven to which fly fishers can retreat to enjoy delicious food, excellent wines and convivial company.
